Please notify the office if your child is going to be away via XUNO (providing a reason) or by phone.

Your teacher will make contact with you if your child is absent for more than 3 days. If you are going away on an extended family holiday (more than 5 days), your child will be provided with a holiday learning plan – please see your classroom teacher.

Attendance data is regularly evaluated at BPS, and students who fall below 80% are identified. These students are placed on Attendance Plans and we meet with the families. They are monitored closely as we work together to improve their attendance. 

Good attendance is vital for a child to reach their full potential, both academically and socially.

Please do not let your child stay home when they are not ill, e.g., for birthdays or when family is visiting.
