Grade 6 Woodwork Class

This Friday, our Grade 6 students will commence a woodwork program which will run across this term.

This is thanks to the generous support of the Birregurra Men's Shed. Over four sessions, students will develop practical woodworking skills while designing and constructing their own birdhouses.

As part of the program, students will also have the opportunity to visit the Birregurra Men's Shed for one of their sessions, where they will learn more about the workshop environment and work alongside experienced volunteers.

We are incredibly grateful to the Birregurra Men's Shed for making this valuable learning experience possible, and we extend our sincere thanks to the two dedicated volunteers who are generously sharing their time, skills, and expertise with our students. We look forward to seeing the wonderful birdhouses our students create and the confidence they build throughout the program.
